The gilded, grey-bearded ferryman of the river, Styx. Charon guides the souls of the newly departed over the reflectionless and eerily still waters. He stands quiet at the bow, a fixture in the dark and harrowing backdrop of the swallowing darkness that is the Underworld. The souls are drawn like flies to the light of the lantern hanging from a skinny pole at the mast of his narrow vessel. After their rites burial rites are dissolved, Charon takes them between the world of the living and the dead and on to their next voyage. A guide, sullen, mysterious, and grim.
Charon's magnetism draws the greatest lineages to him. His offspring will be a testament to his legacy of melding the lines of Ignis. Naomi, Finaldraken, and Barghest.

Charon waves his staff, beckoning the shadowed forms on through the misty spire, towards the black and mournful dock. A steady. sharp glow from darkened eyes is barely visible above tattered wings bent in sorrowful supplication, Charon's haggard form and long, grey beard, almost a third appendage coming out from his robe, looms over the long narrow vessel.
"All are equal here, all will pay their fare." Charon utters. "Styx, take them to their journey's end, give the just rest and wicked, work. Bend the back or mend the soul."
Charon flips a gold coin and it lands soundlessly into the river, Styx. The fare has been paid and only the dead may go on.
"Your destiny beckons, Lord Charon", a voice whispers softly on the vessel and Charon recognizes he is with an audience. As he turns he can near the melody of " The Time-Travelers Lament" and the smell of patchouli heavy in the air. "Our aires shall be a powerful and glorious union the legendary blood that flows in our veins.

Charon the Ferryman

Charon is a G3 Ausra/G4 Imp, a glitched scroll lineage dragon. There were three hatchling from the dragon Firuxe; who had a faulty imperial scroll applied to him. Firuxe was changed back to a wildclaw but his hatchling remained imperial dragons. Charon's father, Tartarus is the 16th hatchling to Ausra and from the last clutch to be publicly sold. Acquired from act on Sept 10th, 2021. Charon is the first born of Tartarus and first of the Underworld series dragons.
