Biography
Piper 
As soon as Piper hatches, his mother begins training him for combat. There is a conflict on the horizon, and while Daybreak has no intention of letting her hatchlings fend for themselves, she drills fighting skills into them nonetheless. In the evenings, Elster watches over them, gently explaining how he spent the day gardening, or telling stories about the way the clan used to be. Piper has no interest in his nostalgia, but quickly picks up a knack for gardening, and it isn't long before his mother admits that his skill with plants far outstrips his skill with combat. Left in his father's care, Piper tends to flowers and trims bushes, learning along the way how to read a plants needs from the spread of its leaves. All of the plants here tell him the same thing: they long for sunlight, and the water is too acidic. Distressed that he cannot tend to them as they need, Piper allows his parents to encourage his departure. Surely he can find greener pastures elsewhere.
Updated Lore:
Piper finds himself leaving alongside Gamora, travelling together until they find themselves sheltering within an old and abandoned cavern. Here, the two Wildclaws discovered an unlikely heaven; A lush garden full of life in a place the sun cannot reach. The caverns were lit with bioluminescent creatures, whose light contribute to the growth of other plants and creatures, creating a self-sustaining environment in the most unlikely of all places.
Piper finds himself growing increasingly curious, as caverns such as these are not meant to sustain much if any life, yet all the plants live her harmoniously despite the lack of light and nutrients. He soon finds the answer to his question: a Tattertail Bilworper, owned by a mysterious Coatl who roams the dark and complicated caverns with much expertise. His interest piqued, Piper finds himself seeking her knowledge and company and settles in these caverns.
