Mistress of the Shadow Court Nari is a dragon only spoken of in whispers. She is not well known and that is the way she likes it. She runs the Shadow Court with cruel efficiency so that her spies do as ordered and never get out of line. She is a master of her web of spies and is able to keep track of everyone and thing around her and members of the Shadow Court are often sort of afraid of her because she has such small tolerance for failure or excuses. She expects results and if she doesn't get them she pushes until she gets them.

Nari's true age is as veiled as she is and while most think she is rather young to be so ruthless she is anything but. One of the most ancient of dragons in the entire Caravan Nari has seen everything and knows everyone. Where her spies may fail her her Shadow Sprites do not and they can often be found flitting about her head whispering secrets into her ears.

The strangest thing about Nari is not her cruelty or ruthlessness. Not even that she is indeed the Spymaster and runs the entire Mu underground and criminal world for the benefit of the Caravan, without most criminals knowing that. Its that... Aleksi is her mate. Aleksi, the rolly polly coli healer who's a bit too fat and fluffy for his own good and waddles even more than other coatls. Aleksi who likes belly rubs and chirping songs at birds. That is who Nari is mated with. Those who learn this are often completely dumbfounded because they do not seem like they would get along EVER.
