One day Mu was there, the next it was gone. Like it just lifted up out of the Sea without any notice and floated away into the sky. Impossible. But how could an entire city just disappear overnight? And not just a city but an entire clan? Not even the maren know where they went. Your trader friend said they still have connections to Mu but you find that hard to believe. The city’s gone. What connection is there to have? They’re still leading a trade convoy there and somehow you got tangled up in it. Still not sure how that happened. Instead of the Sea the convoy heads north. The air never grows colder. Instead across the water you see the Behemoth rise up from the horizon and beneath it grows the Labyrinth. You’ve never been and when you enter the dense, twisting, trees you stick close to your trader friend. They aren’t afraid and you try not to be too. You travel for days in the thick undergrowth, climbing hills and spotting glimpses of lagoons and rivers through the tree line. Birds sing constantly and the air is heavy with the scent of everblooming flowers in more colors than dragon hide. Then you break from the tree line and are surprised to see what’s before you. A great lagoon, deep and clear, where a great ship sits. Atop the ship is a city. Mu! You’d only been once but you’d recognize it anywhere. The tall spires and kites flying in the sky above. It’s just as you remembered. You’ve heard the process is painful at least. Even with the bipeds around the streets are empty, the markets you once saw bustling with life are mostly closed down. No one lingers in the streets and everyone moves with purpose to get where they’re going. There are more guards about. You couldn’t remember seeing a single one last time you came but now they are everywhere. You’re busy looking for a registrar building, they all seem to be gone, when [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=33478&tab=dragon&did=24323790]an imperial in impressive armor[/url] approaches you. ‘Who are you?’ they demand, ‘what is your business in the Caravan?’ Your friend is quick to explain but it does not please the Imperial. The Imperial motions to someone behind him and they come forward. Without consent they place a tracking spell on you and the rest of the convoy. ‘The Caravan is not accepting many visitors at this time. Follow the rules, stay out of trouble. We are watching you,’ then he and the other dragon leave. You look to your friend with worry. You’ve only been here once before and they several times. Atop the doors Sihngari proclaims its name. The words are old and weathered but you think you can make out 'Home Story Library'. Library, that seems like a good place to get information. You didn't anticipate how [/i]huge [i]Home Story is though. Its practically as big as your lair back home! How could such a huge space just be [/i]one [i]building? It isn't even the biggest building in Mu either. You end up picking a random direction and wind up getting lost. Should have anticipated that. They speak in whispers and even given their size you strain to hear them. "Excuse me!" you call up to them. The petaled one looks down at you with cloudy eyes. "Can we help you dear?" she asks in the most gentle voice you've ever heard. "I'm lost. I just wanted to learn more- "Learn[/i] more?[i] Well! You certainly came to the right place," she says. "Home Story contains all the knowledge of Windshear. What do you wish to know?" "What is this place?" you ask. "Is this just one clan? What the heck is Mu? I've heard dragons say New Mu and the Windshear Caravan. What is all this?" The Imperials trade a look, it is gentle amusement and you know you are not the first small scrappy thing that has come for them in confusion. You can tell that these two are older than they appear, perhaps older than you can imagine. Probably older than any dragons back home in your own clan. You heard the city just disappeared. One day Mu was there, the next it was gone. Like it just lifted up out of the Sea without any notice and floated away into the sky. Impossible. But how could an entire city just disappear overnight? And not just a city but an entire clan? Not even the maren know where they went.

Your trader friend said they still have connections to Mu but you find that hard to believe. The city’s gone. What connection is there to have? They’re still leading a trade convoy there and somehow you got tangled up in it. Still not sure how that happened.

Instead of the Sea the convoy heads north. The air never grows colder. Instead across the water you see the Behemoth rise up from the horizon and beneath it grows the Labyrinth. This hatchery is pay what you want. Hatchlings are listed in the AH for best case scenario/what I feel they are worth but I'll take CRs for anything over 10k or fodder prices during large dom battles.
New players who joined during the latest Welcome Week get one free dragon of those available.
Members of Nature Flight are also eligable to get one free dragon of their choosing.
I accept some items as full or partial payment. Especially new, retired, or cycled items.
I will breed dragons in different nests then they're listed upon request.
You are free to edit the bios to fit your clan aesthetic but do not claim the writing as your own.

Eventually, avoiding the gazes of most of the guards, you stumble upon a set of grand stairs leading to a building half sunken into the ground. Curious, you enter. I will be noting when it is a pair's last nest ever so if you've been wanting a baby from some of my pairs this will be your final opportunity to get a hatchling from them. Or you could buy a parent if you wanted instead. Buying and exalting of adults will start on September 3rd, my anniversary. In the middle of the city you come across a grand building. Easily the next largest one in Mu after Home Story. There's no obvious sign, and only sometimes dragons leave the building, only a few move in. After looking around a bit you find a sign that proclaims the building as a Contract Buyout facility. Mystery solved.

Except what the hell is a Contract Buyout facility?

You enter the building and proceed to the front desk. A sandy Guardian in a stunning blue hat is behind the desk accompanied by a roll of ledgers. Around the building are various dragons relaxing and hanging out, making conversation and in general seeming at ease. When you near the desk the Guardian looks down at you. "Can I help you?" You ask her what his building is for.

"Well Mu's a big place," she says. "Lots of dragons wandering around, all looking for their place in the world. Sometimes that place is Mu, for others it isn't. But no dragon is useless in Mu. Here dragons can come and offer their skills to another clan, whatever it may be from good breeding stock to engineering genius to steady hands to stitch a straight line. They offer their services out for a Contract fee, which goes to the dragon to sort out their affairs here in Mu, and to pay a fee to us for the loss of their skills. My 4th anniversary is coming up in September. To celebrate I'm going to be selling and exalting like half of my lair. This is mainly because I'm tired of my lore and my dragons and I want a change in what my lair looks like and how I have to think about my dragons.

You find yourself close to one of the entrances that could take you below Mu and into the Windsinger's Tale. There are large, scary looking, dragon guards standing over the entrance making sure no one goes in who isn't supposed to. You wisely decide to give them a wide berth and find yourself at another large building. It isn't nearly as large as Homestory or the CBB and when you look inside you see why. The occupants of the building are hatchlings. You hurriedly check for signage. It's an adoption nursery. Well you certainly are a sucker for hatchlings. They're just so small and adorable and make the cutest little noises. You go into the building and are met by a [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=33478&tab=dragon&did=26510053]bright and kindly wildclaw[/url]. He welcomes you in. You ask if you can play with and look at the hatchlings he's watching over. He says yes, of course. You go over to the biggest group of them you can and they are SO happy to see you! A new playmate. It's everything you can do not to be smothered.[/i] [color=green][s]Dragons in this post are either random fodder saves or project fails of one kind or another. The nursery might not always have hatchlings to play with and they are exalted much sooner than dragons found in the CBB This hatchery is pay what you want. After getting an eye full of the Contract Buyout Building you continue your wandering. You find yourself close to one of the entrances that could take you below Mu and into the Windsinger's Tale. There are large, scary looking, dragon guards standing over the entrance making sure no one goes in who isn't supposed to. You wisely decide to give them a wide berth and find yourself at another large building. It isn't nearly as large as Homestory or the CBB and when you look inside you see why.

The occupants of the building are hatchlings. You hurriedly check for signage. It's an adoption nursery. Well you certainly are a sucker for hatchlings. They're just so small and adorable and make the cutest little noises. You go into the building and are met by a bright and kindly wildclaw. He welcomes you in.

You ask if you can play with and look at the hatchlings he's watching over. He says yes, of course. You go over to the biggest group of them you can and they are SO happy to see you! A new playmate. It's everything you can do not to be smothered.

Dragons in this post are either random fodder saves or project fails of one kind or another. The nursery might not always have hatchlings to play with and they are exalted much sooner than dragons found in the CBB

Jupiter is always there for her to offer comfort or help her unwind after a long day and manages the clan’s aviary and acts as ambassador to the clan’s local Talonok tribe. Their children often follow in their mother’s footsteps in being military minded or ambassadors of some sort.

Lucy was once the Commander of the guard in Mu. A general during the War of Legacies Lucy made a real name for herself as a leadeno ror and warriors during those times. But an attack on a flock of harpies causing trouble for the Caravan left her crippled without two of her limbs and missing an eye. She now takes an advisory role to the Windborne Commander. Desmond is a sergeant in the Windborne. He served during the War of Legacies as well but never wanted the fame it brought him, he now trains new guards and commands a sector of Mu, running guard patrols in that area. Their children all show great dedication to their clan and often go into guard or administration positions to help better than clan however they can.

Members of the Windborne Hawk manages the vast communications network in the guard while Sarah leads the Flower Guard, a garrison of the Windborne. They have a strange non romantic relationship built on trust and love. Hawk keeps Sarah well informed since she and her garrison are often on the front lines of the war against the Crumbled in their assistance with the Order of Rhodes. Their children have a strong sense of independence and desire to be the best they can be.

The Whistle Reeds seem to have a problem with guards. Not that they don't get along fine with the Windborne but it seems like their crew can't help but fall in with them. Hero is a Staff Sergeant of the Windborne. He's a bit full of himself and charismatic as can be with a big enough ego to try and get with the Whistle Reed navigator Summer, a nice dragon by pirate standards. She doesn't know how to handle his flirtations though and just ends up eating her pearl to avoid saying something stupid. Their children are adventurous and charming, often the heart throb and never settle for less than the best.

A Stranger Calling
After the destruction of her uncle and the new un-life of her children Killing has retreated even more into the Slaughter Three to hide away from other dragons. Myth, the mysterious dragon originally sent to kill her, stays with her now and keeps her company amid the new denizens of the Slaughter Three. Too heart broken for true children their children are instead an extension of Killing’s despair of what her life has become. Their children are rarely true dragons but rather dolls, toys, or potion muck that she has sewn life into.

Searing is the Guardian of Killing and after the trauma of what happened with Butcher she’s taken a bit of a break from her duties with Killing. She spends more time with Connor, a smith for the Windshear, in an attempt to heal her soul. Connor offers what he can even though Searing refuses to tell him what real nightmares she witnessed or trauma she went through under Butcher’s madness. Their children are kind and courteous things who want others to be happy and safe and will defend their friends to the bitter end.

Isolde is daughter and heir of House Warsong of the Clan of Rhodes sent by her mother to aid Kaley in their war with the Crumbled. She is a Judge of the Order and passes judgement on those who work against their Order and wish its destruction. Tristan is her loyal paladin companion who protects her at all costs and loves her dearly. He is also the one who deals out the punishments she deems upon others. Their children have a strong sense of honor and justice and will do whatever they deem fit to ensure that those who do wrong are punished for what they have done.

How Exciting!
Violin is Cello’s new lab assistant. She lives aboard the ship known as the Gyre with him and they run tests and experiments. Gyre is one such experiment. Cello knows what Dilarus did with Natta but he wanted to see if he could make an elemental into a dragon as well. Gyre is the mutilation of an Ice elemental spirit forced into the body of a dragon. He has no memory of what he was and Violin finds him rather amusing. Their children are usually mad or incredibly powerful Ice Touched dragons.

Sim and Melissa are beekeepers in the Caravan with their many hives on a barge known as the Comb. Sim mainly tends the bees and makes sure they have plenty of flowers to pollenate while Melissa usually does the harvesting of the honey and honey comb to keep their bees happy and healthy. Melissa also makes candles out of the leftover wax. Their children are environmentally conscious industrious and are often beekeepers or craftsmen.

Dilarus is a master summoner who summons elemental beings of great power. One day it went a bit amiss and he summoned something he could not control. He bound the elemental into the body of his young apprentice. She became charged and changed by the Lightning Elemental to become Natta. At first she hated Dilarus for taking her true form from her but time really does heal all wounds and they have a close relationship now. Their children are often incredibly powerful magic users and often Lightning Touched.

Adame is Nari’s adopted son and set to take over a spymaster in the event that she ever steps down. She disapproves of his relationship with the pilot Leon, seeing him as too common for her adopted son. Leon is a senior pilot for the Windsinger’s Tale and was once a racer and a bit of a con artist before he went on the straight after an accident that crippled him. Their children are charismatic and charming but not in good ways, rather in a way that should make you keep your claw on your purse in their presence.

Cain is the clan’s treasurer and keeps stock of all flow of treasure and gems in and out of the clan. He takes his job very seriously and always knows how much money the clan has. Sam is his assistant and somewhat bodyguard to make sure he stays safe since more than a few dragons would love to get ahold of the dragon that controls Windshear’s accounts. Their children are shrewd and secretive but that often hides large hearts.

Two of the oldest dragons in the entire clan Melon and Bering don’t really have specific duties anymore. They mainly offer guidance and wisdom. Since they’ve been around so long they know how to do many things and are jack of all trades, master of none sort of dragons able to help in almost any situation. Their children are usually very clever and well mannered and enjoy helping others find their way.

Snaps is the leader of the couriers in the Caravan. Direct and to the point Snaps can come off very serious and strict. She is often accompanied by her ex-spy current explorer mate Ginger who wants to see the world. He doesn’t care about writing what he sees down or making maps though. His memory is enough for him. Their children are incredibly loyal and fun loving and prone to falling asleep in strange positions.

Lark maintains the great Windshear Wind Chime that has a chime for every dragon in both the inner and outer clan. She keeps records of each chime and its note and placement in the chime. Sparrow is her mate and assistant. He is in charge of crafting all the chimes and tuning them to Lark’s specifications. They both keep very detailed records of the Windchime which acts as the clan’s genealogical record and history. Their children are well learned and often book worms who love exploring the lands of their clan to learn the environmental history of their home.

After a horrific accident that left Shale’s legs crippled Shale turned to books for comfort. Eventually he became appointed as Head Librarian for the massive Caravan library known as Home Story. His mate Shoal is the curator for the Lower Index, a part of Home Story where all manner of banned/forbidden/dangerous books are kept. She alone is allowed to grant access to the Lower Index and spends most of her time there maintaining the ancient books.

Ximena is a sky whale researcher who tracks and studies sky whales in the Plateau. She has her specific pod which is ‘hers’ and knows them all and they know her. She’s a very serious scientist who also is an absolute It girl and likes to go to parties in Mu. Jaak is a mist spirit she found all battered and hurt around the waterfall that leads from the Ruins into the Sea. She nursed him back to health and he sticks to her like glue now.

Nari is the Caravan spy master. Founder of the Shadow Court she has an extensive web of spies that know everything about everyone in the Caravan and of allied clans. Nari is a very serious lady who runs her operation partially through fear and intimidation and partially through sheer ability to get things done. Alexis is a healer of the highest sort. Only he is privileged enough to accompany the most trained warriors out on coli patrol and offer them healing. He is the most relaxed and jovial coatl you’ll ever meet though. Some wonder how an ice queen like Nari tolerate such a rally polly mate like Aleksi. Their children are both cunning and lovable and love both knowing secrets and belly rubs.

Selene is a maren who left home for adventure and in the process found pieces of Moon, an old and destroyed golem, deep in the bottom of the ocean. She looked for someone who could help her repaid Moon and eventually found Rhodon who reconstructed Moon into the form he is now. Despite not being ‘real’ Moon acts just like a normal Guardian and considers Selene his Charge. Their ‘children’ are not actually their children but usually either maren who want to play at being dragons for a little while or more such constructs found by Selene that Rhodon repairs.
