Renaissance originated from a clan in the Blacksand Annex, raised among the fires and forges that churn out the various creations that are used by dragons across the land. He left upon reaching maturity, interested in pursuing his own ambitions and eager to leave his own mark on the world. He wandered the domains for a long time, seeing the sights, but eventually he began to wrestle with the urge to settle down. He'd never been one for family activities, but he soon found that the nomadic life was not a permanent solution for him either. He felt too isolated and alone without a clan to call home, without clanmates for company and friends to watch his back. So, setting his sights on the Arcanist's domain, he traveled to the Oculus of the Eleven, intent on lending his services in the ongoing effort to alleviate the damage war and natural disasters were causing dragonkind.

Besides, maybe he'd meet a special someone?

Here he came across a tiny, determined fae named Winter Sakura, a young idealist with shattered roots and a hole in her heart that he was honored to help fill. Together they chose to form their own family, a clan dedicated to caring for those who had fallen on hard times, which would eventually become known as Winterclan in honor of the matriarch who founded it.
