Opal comes from the Scarred Wastelands, exiled from her old flight for unknown reasons. Slowly she began to make her way to Starfall Isles. It didn't take long for her to meet a young Hollowed who was developing his own army known as Hollowed's Tree. He tried to persuade and manipulate Opal into joining, but she was able to see beyond his lies. After all, he only cared about her because she comes from an ancient lineage. And she refused to be a pawn yet again.

Not long after chasing Hollowed away, Opal found a young dragonet named Melon. She became her mentor and taught the dragon how to fight. Over time, it gave Opal an idea. Why is it that Hollowed thinks he's so special? Why does he believe that he will be the one who can conquer and rule? Why can't it be someone more reasonable like her? So she began to form her own flight of ancient dragons in hopes to turn the tides. The uprising is unsure whether to trust her or not. After all, it seems that she doesn't care about stopping Hollowed to restore peace. She only wants to take his place...

The large banescale shifted her gaze towards the younger imperial dragon. Her apprentice, who used to look at her with honor and pride, now only looked at her with disgust. "Is this what it's all for? Not for freedom but for power?!" Melon growled as her head lowered in shame. "I'm such a fool to think you could change things. But in the end, you really are just as bad as Hollowed-"

"Don't you EVER compare that worm to me!" Opal roared. She snarled revealing her yellowed teeth, with a fiery anger in her eyes. Melon only flinched, stepping backward as Opal lept in front of her. The dragon's face was so close, and the apprentice could feel the heat coming off of her. "That nobody is a weak fool who will lose his flock eventually. He doesn't know how to lead and he only cares about manipulating dragons like you and me for his so-called 'cause' Tell me this then, if I were to bring upon justice with a better reign than him, does that make me a terrible dragon?"

Melon's talons dug into the earth, her wings spreading out as she held back her fear to stand strong against her former idol. "You harmed dragons like he did," she stated. "You killed just like him."

Opal only rolled her eyes, "Oh please kid. Everyone has blood on their claws. No one is ever some perfect knight in shining armor here to make things right. That's just how life works..."
