Antigone

No has never been in her vocabulary. Anything Antigone sets her mind to, she believes wholeheartedly that she can complete--and she will. She is ridiculously determined and therefore quite capable. She keeps herself in shape and tries to eat only the best. She is naturally quite friendly, and makes friends easily. This is also because she is very trustworthy and reliable since she keeps her promises and will always support those she works alongside.

Perhaps in boldness, Antigone's trade of choice is miner. It's a dirty and dangerous job but she works hard every day. She holds heavy weight, breathes in dust, and claws through the mines. She does have an eye for beauty though, and loves when she finds gems or crystals in the caves she works in. When that does happen, she takes care to keep the gem in a safe place until she can go into town and either give it to a collector or jeweler. She never sells the gems, as she finds them special and deserving only to be gifted or adored.

Antigone met Sceliphron while they both worked on the same renovation project. Among others, they were supposed to be tearing down massive columns and moving the heavy ruins to an area where they were to be melted down. The Plague Snapper watched her as she took on more weight than he believed she could possibly hold, but she never gave up or asked for help. Eventually, he sent others to help her but they returned saying she claimed she could handle it on her own. After more careful watching, he acknowledged that she could very well do it on her own--but shouldn't have to. He stepped in personally to work by her side, and when she argued that she was very capable, he agreed. He merely said he wanted to work with her. She later found out that he was the leader of that remodeling crew.
When he joined Vixen's Clan permanently, he waited a couple weeks then asked his new clan leaders if they could make space for her too. He argued that she was a hardworker and extremely competent. They hadn't yet had any Obelisks in the clan and were eager to welcome someone that he vouched for. Nowadays, when she comes across a hidden gem, she gleefully takes it to Karat, the clan's Jeweler; she then spends the rest of the day chattering excitedly with Soot and Valyria, the resident Blacksmith and Goldsmith. She loves belonging to a clan with so many other industrial workers.
