Biography

Murdoch
He/Him
Mate of Frankie

Dock Worker
Retired Seafarer

Not long ago, Murdoch was a proud crew member of the Iridescence. He was strong, brash, and had dreams of fierce battles on the high seas with pirates and monsters alike. Being of a youthful mind, he was certain he'd face such challenges with ease. He shared a mutual affection with the ship's medic, Frankie, who found his shows of bravado entertaining, unlike the rest of the crew. Much sooner than either of them expected, though, Murdoch's dreams became a reality. One fateful night, the ship was raided by a band of pirates. The battle was long and hard-fought, and in the end, the crew of the Iridescence emerged victorious.
It was not without sacrifices, though. True to his word, Murdoch fought valiantly throughout the night. He took the brunt of many of the enemies' attacks, and was severely injured as a result. Frankie did her best to patch him up, but there was only so much she could do. Murdoch's wounds were deep, some of which he would never fully recover from. Suffice to say, his sailing days had been cut short.

Since then, Murdoch has made many efforts to adjust to his new lease on life, hard though it has been. He left the crew of the Iridescence, and after some time spent recuperating, he became one of the clan's dock workers. Perhaps he might never return to the sea, but at least he could be beside it. Frankie took a temporary leave from the crew alongside him, and personally oversaw his rehabilitation.

Overall, Murdoch has made good progress in his recovery. He's largely come to terms with his new role in the clan, and he's even made piece with some of the pirates from the battle. If he learned anything from the experience, it's that what you have in one moment can be gone in the next. It's no wonder, then, that he and Frankie were quick to tie the knot following the battle.

Notes
  1. My original plan for Murdoch was to use him as a fan dragon of an original Transformers character, a role that would eventually be filled by another dragon. This is a characteristic that he shares with his mate, Frankie.
