Most goods that arrive via the Iridescence are bound for the clan's storerooms; trade goods, imported foods, and the like. These deliveries are cooperatively handled by the ship's crew and the dock workers, with others helping from time to time. Smaller packages, on the other hand, are usually destined for individual dragons. This is where Qui comes in, as the clan's primary internal courier. On any given day, you'll find Qui zipping about the lair, making deliveries from the docks to one dragon or another, and vice-versa.
Sometimes they might take orders from the clan leaders to the guards, or they might transport materials from the scavengers to the academics. Other times they may just be carrying a note or a gift from one resident to another. Whatever the delivery, Qui will be sure to see it through, no matter how big or small... though they sometimes need help with the bigger items.

  2. Qui's name is a (very simple) portmanteau of "quay" and "koi."
