Biography

Myfina is the clan healer and next in line to lead the Tradewinds clan when Oskeli is no longer capable to lead. She is also a very powerful and skilled user of magic. As the eldest daughter of Oskeli and Gavyn, she was bossed around as a hatchling on how she should behave and present herself. Her brothers and sister were able to act however they wanted and could play with their friends like normal hatchlings could, but since she was the first born she never had that luxury. She was always torn away from her friends when it was time to receive her lessons on leadership. It had gotten so bad for her that one day she broke down and snapped. She roared at her parents that she never wanted to be leader of the clan and that she hated them for restricting her actions. Before they could do anything to stop her she had flown off. She had no intentions on returning to her clan, after all her brother could be the next leader in her place since he was the second oldest. A weight had been lifted off her shoulders, she was free to do what she wished.

She was happy to have control over her life again, but there was one small problem, she had no idea where she was. She cursed at herself for not thinking this through and landed in the unknown territory below. As she traveled farther and farther into the land she had found herself even more lost than she was before. It was dark no matter where she turned and as she was close to just giving up and letting herself be taken by the night, heavy footsteps could be heard getting closer to her. She stood her ground trying to be brave as the footsteps got closer along with strange blue lights. Suddenly a figure burst from the now visible brush, covered in the indigenous glowing fungi of the area. She screamed out not expecting the seemingly zombified Ridgeback to run out at her like that. Without thinking she used what knowledge of magic she had from her parent's teachings on the dragon. It was supposed to be merely a breeze but it was intensified into strong winds which knocked the Ridgeback over. She was about to unleash another one before the dragon yelled out that he was fine and that it was just a prank.

The Ridgeback, who went by Rouge, was impressed with her power and after a long talk he took Myfina under his wing. About two months had passed after their encounter and Myfina grew more powerful with her magic and healing abilities thanks to Rogue. The thought of her leaving the Wispwillow Grove and going back home never crossed her mind until one day. While digging through the area for some herbs she bumped into an old clan mate who was looking for her. He was hysterical when he found her telling her everything that had happened in the time that she was gone. She was shocked to hear that her father had been slain and that her mother was missing. She thought about when she last saw them and the last words she ever said to them were. Filled with regret and anger at herself for being so foolish, she let Rogue know that her clan needed her. He understood and gave her some herbs and fungi for practicing before she left with her clan mate.

When she got back to her home clan she was distraught at the pitiful state it was in. She tried to find her siblings that she had left so long ago, but all she was welcomed by was a frail looking Fenrir. She tried to embrace him but was pushed away by a low growl. Fenrir explained to her about the events that unfolded after she had left. Myfina tried to apologize to her only remaining sibling but to no avail. He could never forgive her for leaving the clan when they needed her the most and that she was not fit to become leader. She was taken aback at her brother's anger but she understood. She had messed up and now she had to fix it. She worked night and day to fix the state of the clan, and it was soon back on its feet.

Not long after, word spread that a white Spiral had been seen with her mother and was heading their way. She kept this in mind as the days passed and one day she heard a commotion. The snow white Spiral was pushing his way through the crowd to try and find the clan leader. She beckoned him over and he told her that he found her caught in infectious tendrils and not wanting to lose her mother as well, she immediately went to work. As difficult as it was dealing with a foreign disease, she managed to heal her mother away from certain death. She waited hours for her mother to wake, not even considering leaving her side like she had done so foolishly before. Once she noticed her mother stirring she sprinted over and apologized once she was more awake. Her mother forgave her and pulled her into an embrace. She asked her if she was angry with her at all and to her surprise Oskeli said that she was never angry, she had just missed her and waited everyday for her return. She understood now that her clan needed her there and she promised all of them that she would protect them til she died. To this day she still regrets her actions and is always willing to help out a fellow clan mate to try and make up for it.
