There's always just so many
by yours truly, crappy non-native english included
xxxxxxxOh, what a mess. It sprung from the Wyrmwound, like others did, but there were just so many at the time. It was strong, and something stirred inside it to fight, attack the nearest target. It happened to be a wolf, or better something pretenting to be one. (Liar. Challenger. Enemy. Ally.) xxxxxxxThe wolf bested it, so there was nothing else to be done but follow it, ask to be trained. One of the four was right, this was a worthy ally. It seemed happy with it's presence. It seemed to resonate with the confusion on its head. It saw it as a proof of the machinations of Plaguebringer, it was proof of her strength. It was delighted to have bested it, and even more eager to train it. It just needed guidance, the wolf could not provide all it needed to know, but the mage could. (Mage? Opponent. Deceiver. Ally.) xxxxxxxIt brought the (One. Two. Three. There's four of us.) aberration to Porto where it would learn how to live with other dragons. It made for a popular attraction at first, a novelty, a brand new gossip. It was stressful, it could all agree. Too many. There was always just so many. xxxxxxxThe mage shunned them all out. At her side, the priest seemed concerned, it seemed to like smiling, and said caring for it (It! It! We? Us.) was going to be tiring. But it (It? We? We. Us.) needed help, and the wolf, mage and priest could provide that. xxxxxxxWe just needed time. | x |

A hard-to-deal and confusing Aberration, who unlike Cauê is... Not fully capable of functioning in society. While many think it's likely the strongest warrior in all of Porto alongside Ra'Rera and Mimirra, they also agree that it's conflicting personalities do not make up for a reliable fighter. The Guildmasters don't consider it part of the clan's defense plans, and most in town want little to do with it until it... Behaves better. They're trying, they swear they are, but some days are just harder than others. Living with Eleanor, Antonio and Mimirra, the aberration spends most of its day dealing with simple tasks around the Abbey, trying to maintain the place. It's only public task is welcoming dragons and directing them to the services they need. Most in the clan agree that it's... Doing well, but the aberration knows it's got to get better. Its four personalities aren't conflicting most of the time, and there isn't really one that is preferable than the others. They're all individuals capable of being both a pleasant company and a complete pain in the ***, depending on their own moods. They'd like to get better, but they also want to believe they are. It's been a constant ascent from the first day, when Mimirra found them. It's getting so much better all the time. |
FOUR
Família Pedreira
Pedrão, Pedrinho, Pedrita e Petra
Pedrão is what the hardest personality was named. "Left head, male, hard to deal, keep it simple, short instructions, likes all things battle and force" was written beneath Pedrão's name in the board. Under it are some others like "avoid exposure to battle, let Mimirra handle". That is because this is the Aberration's more... Erratic self. It's also the strongest one, the one who keeps them alive in combat, and the one who likes Mimirra the most. The other two are weaklings who aren't worthy of its respect. The wolf is his best ally.
Pedrinho is how they named the cunning one. "Right head, male, constantly watching, suspicious of everything, make clear, concise sentences, avoid double meanings, likes puzzles and charades" is under Pedrinho's name. He's an excellent judge of character. Observative, smart and wise, Pedrinho always knows when someone is trying to keep them fooled and saw through Mimirra and Antonio right away. This is the Aberration's manipulative side. It has some trouble trusting others, and wants to keep things the way they are. Eleanor seems to be the only one it can have sensible conversations at time. She's the only one who can be trusted.
Pedrita is a fine name for a sassy dragon. "Right head, female, sarcastic, a bit mean, do not engage if you're not in the right head space, do not give her weapons to talk you down, likes card games and music" is under Pedrita's name. She's easier to deal with, it never seems like she'd do something out of malice, until she does. Unworthy of trust is what Eleanor and Mimirra call her, but Antonio begs to differ. He thinks Pedrita is just your typical con-dragon, always looking for a chance to gain something at the expense of others, even if just a good laugh. The two get along just fine.
Petra is how they're called around Porto. "Right head, female, capable of talking to any dragon, likes decorative weapons, smoking and bets", are quite good notes, it would say. Somethings going by the name Pedro if they're feeling Pedrão and Pedrinho a bit more that day, Petra is what most would call the level-headed side of the Aberration. It was the last side to make itself known, but all other three agree that Petra is best at keeping them away from conflict, although at times, the three also think Petra is a tad inferior and weaker. Pedrão can keep them alive in combat, Pedrinho can tell when someone's fooling them, Pedrita can get them what they need with mere words, what exactly is Petra bringing to the table, other than what? A calm and sociable personality? It's charming voice and good disposition? Oh, please. Petra is boring, is what the other three write on their diary. It's useful because it's boring. Petra is often treated to "Grow a personality or get out" notes under its name. Which it finds hilarious. "I don't think we need more personalities at this point." is its reply.
