◆ S T O R M B R I N G E R ◆
The fierce, no-nonsense leader of the clan and commander of the elite Storm Strikers, Stormbringer is a dragon to be reckoned with.
Stormbringer grew up in the floating city of Cloudsong, learning to fly on the edges of the Crescendo. She was always an excellent flyer, taking to the air sooner than others her age and quickly growing to outpace anyone else in the sky. Some dragons liked to say that she must have been blessed by the Windsinger, to have the wind under her wings like that.
At the urging of others, her boldness led her to join the city’s aerial guard as soon as she was old enough. She soared through training with flying colors, and quickly rose through the ranks to become captain of her own squadron.
•While she may appear cold at times, Stormbringer cares deeply for her dragons and would die protecting them. Her biggest soft spot is for her family, but she cares more in general than she lets on.
•Extremely dedicated to keeping her skills sharp and battle-ready. She often wakes up very early and flies out to practice her maneuvers and aerial combat, and immediately sets to fixing anything she perceives as a weakness on her part.
•She actually, for all her seriousness, has a bit of a sweet tooth. Her favorite sweet is blue honeycakes garnished with blue roses.
•Cares deeply for her flight and is very dedicated to the winds, although she rarely shows it. It’s perhaps most noticeable when the Mistral Jamboree rolls around and she dresses to celebrate the occasion, but she often lends her fellow Wind dragons a helping claw when the opportunity arises.
•Perhaps she really believes that her unparalleled abilities in flight were a gift from the Windsinger herself, because the inner band of her necklace is engraved with a prayer to the Deity of Wind
•Allegedly blessed by the Windsinger with a rare power, Stormbringer can fly exceptionally fast, as if the wind itself were hurling her forward. She can easily outpace anyone in the air. Her broad, feathered tail makes her even more maneuverable than most skydancers.
•Wears very light armor to avoid weighing herself down, instead relying on speed and agility. She wears armor on her tail, wings, and talons since that’s what she uses to strike at her opponents
•Her familiar is a storm seeker she found with a broken wing and nursed back to health
•Only goes by the nickname “Storm” to Zephyrus
