Aveline has the patience and the power to keep both of her brothers in check. Although she seems rather responsible and mature, she will jump at an opportunity to play with the newborn hatchlings. As such, most of them are extremely att ched to her. She is an extremely strong guardian, outmatched by Heracles, her father, but is on par with Diamondust. Thw two love to have friendly sparring matches and are the best of friends. She does not have a mate, but is friendly with Jasperite, the clan healer. She can deal devastating blows to her opponents, stunning or killing them quickly. She is both calm and headstrong, always fighting for what she believes in. Her Search ended when she realised that she would have to protect the clan from the ever present danger in the wasteland of the Plaguebringer.

Her brothers had to have all the excitement, of course. She had been forced to stay behind to conjure up a suitable lie for Epimetheus, the border guard currently on duty. The tundra looked around at the almost empty lair, before giving her a surreptitious wink. "Be back before sunset though, else Nyx will have my hide." He laughed, and gestured at the mouth of the tunnel. Aveline nodded gratefully. She had no doubt that Epimetheus knew exactly what she was doing, but there was no going back now. The guardian found Altair easily enough, but had spotted something that would make the situation even more complicated than it already was. The serthis Beastclan was here. She let loose a screech, that spoke of danger. Aveline saw Altair glance back, but she had no time to ask him for help. Turning around to face the Beastclan, she snarled, baring her teeth and unfurling her wings. She would have to defend her brothers as Altair tried to heal Connor. The first serthis lunged at her, and tried to sink its claws into her neck. Before it could, however, Aveline slammed herself down, crushing the serthis instantly. It wasn't a very good idea, though. The rest of the serthis swarmed around the fallen guardian, tearing at her hide with their needle-sharp claws. Roaring in anger, Aveline batted them off, but she could not get to her feet. A sethis reached up, a cruel glint in its eyes, and tried to claw her face. Until a set of sharp teeth clamped itself firmly around its neck and yanked the wriggling body off her. Connor nudged her to her feet, as Altair fended off a few serthis. Aveline glanced at her older brother. The dark blue mirror was shaken, she realised, and he wasn't very steady on his feet. His wounds were bandaged up (rather clumsily) but he didn't seem to care. Altair wasn't much better, but at least he was the freshest. Aveline could see him tearing into the Beastclan, snapping left and right. She grinned. This was what the three lived for. Skirmishes and fights were their kind of thing. Snarling a war cry, she leapt into the fray with her brothers. If they were going to go down, it would not be without a fight, that much was clear.
