Ruby's parents were Antimatter of the Plague flight and MoonWing of the Fire flight, to whom she is nearly identical. She was born in a venerable lair carved into the Rotrock Rim.

Her father was, uh, rather horrifying to behold, with far too many eyeballs growing out of the living, pulsing rot that was slowly taking over his body. Maybe this was why she left the Scarred Wasteland and travelled west to the Starfall Isles.

Ruby is surprisingly sweet-natured and gentle for a Plague dragon, and gives really good hugs. She's had one hatchling, Adonis, with LanceArcher. Adonis still lives at home with her, though she's hoping that soon he will venture out to seek his own destiny (for the sake of her food stores, goodness, the boy can eat).
