Quadrico

An oddball, a real weirdo, but a handsome one. Quadrico or, Rico for short, is a robust sort of dragon with a very impressive strategic mind and an even more impressive knack for magic. He enjoys the company of others, and likes to learn new things. But the strangest thing about him, is that he acts and talks like he's from distant outer space. Even as a hatchling, he's convinced himself that he was born in a river of clouds and raised by space swans that taught him how to swim in the air and fly in gravitational fields. He's either crazy or has quite the imagination...because he was raised in the library like so many others, and he hatched from an egg just like everyone else.

But Quadrico's preferred origins and his melodramatic attitude towards a given crisis or situation, is by far not the strangest of his behaviors. He tends to whistle around flowers, saying that it makes them happy, and he collects scarves even though he only wears one, claiming that scarves can save lives. Also, nobody really knows what he's talking about when he says that bees and bumbles are the "first ones" and should be given the highest respect. For an Arcane dragon, he can sometimes be more fascinated with Nature and Plague than the stars themselves. He finds familiarity in the lands of the Arcane flight, but he much prefers to explore and discover things that...have already been discovered and understood. For some reason, he's quite at home being in a Fire kingdom. And it seems he's found a way to use volcanic rocks and embers and minerals in his readings. Which is good. Good for him.

He's got a pretty face and has grown to be quite attractive. Though Quadrico is not so much a compatible sort, as he tends to have odd courting behaviors. Instead, usually he is busy with something weird like, helping, "the small ones" as he calls ghosts, find their way to peace. Or rubbing ice on musical instruments to "bathe the sound" and purify it. And (despite his insistence that his destiny is to bear witness the two planets "Zeta II with her wife Osagona Didai" aligning and returning to the galactic family he was sent away from to avoid being eaten by a monstrous King Swan named "Kolos")...he's a very kind, forgiving and compassionate friend to have.
If you cry on his shoulder he might collect your tears and place them behind your ears to help you find a more intimate place in the future. If you gift him something he will be grateful and honor a personal service from him in return...most likely meaning a simple task because his gifts to show thanks are mostly rib bones and shards of glass. Sometimes it's treasure and gems if he has it. He sees little value in actual currency and tends to toss it away or use it as a means to polish his scales with. And though Quadrico is loyal to his own cause, he is grateful to serve as he puts it, "an alien kingdom."

The King thinks he's a very funny and bright warrior, and the Queen is glad for his contribution to the kingdom and to the citadel...though he's a weirdo. He admires the Queen, claiming that in her past body she was a mighty dancer that summoned the comets. Which would make sense, seeing as she's an ice-born dragon, but needless to say, a silly but flattering claim. Quadrico is a master of Arcane magic, and uses his talents to aid in battle as well as to protect the kingdom. But he is also the go-to person for dream interpretation and advice for the near future, because he seems to have some odd potential for being an oracle.
