JayDove

JayDove revels in her spirit and her skill in flight. She lives up to not only her element, but her species as well. An expert in the air, JayDove is a force to be reckoned with. She is fast, agile, able to turn on a dime, and capable of twisting and diving in the air as if she were a seal in water. She can put up a good fight, and she has the endurance to fly long distances and high altitudes. In fact one time she flew for 14 hours straight without the need of rest.

She also loves racing, and prides herself on being the fastest flyer in the kingdom. The King thought about making her the new courier, but JayDove insists that she likes being right in her place, practicing aerial combat. Her heart is in the sky, and in the sky is where she belongs. Her colors she proudly displays as Cobalt and Gold, and wears a birdskull badge upon her arm to claim her dominance of the skies surrounding the kingdom. She patrols the area far better than Shade might from the trees and the shadows, but still, she has to learn to work together with others. She has a good understanding of procedures, orders and commands, but she still lacks the understanding of exercising caution, and instead, throws it to the wind.

JayDove can be very cocky and arrogant, jumping head-first into things without thinking twice and exhibiting her overconfidence in her abilities. Protophosides thinks she's a wonderful and faithful warrior, but everyone else sees that she could use some strategic and critical reflection.

Despite her faults, JayDove is a very good asset and a loyal friend. She is the sort of dragon that is willing to jump into action in just about any situation, unafraid of confrontation or pressure. She does have a sensitive side too. She cares deeply for those that admire her, and especially for those who are helpless and unable to defend themselves. For this reason, she wanted to join the other warriors in the citadel, and become the first and best Ace fighter of the skies. Under her watchful, goggled eye, no one would have to worry about dangers, from outside clans, from storms, from flying beasts, from anything. But she does understand that she can only do so much, and that she cannot stop time from passing by. Though she hates to admit it, there might come a time when she is too old to fly as vigorously and gracefully as she does now. But she refuses to believe she is worth any less, simply because she knows that deep down she belongs to the sky, and will ultimately live her afterlife in the winds above, guiding the dragons of the future.

She also tends to have an odd way of speaking, with lots of nicknames, idioms and "coded speech".
