Biography
((Clan Role: Pestilence Sorceress))
Beware to any who linger in this sweet lady's presence for too long. Porphyria has a very bad flu and tends to pass it on to anyone she comes into contact with. However, being a plague dragon, she is asymptomatic and is usually always in good spirits and primary condition. Her demeanor and her elegant calm however give off the feeling of malaise, fatigue and genuine weariness. But Porphyria is FAR from delicate and weak.
Though a sociable and polite lady fae, she also has a little bit of morbid and twisted sense of humor and often boasts upon her own ability to traverse harsh terrain. And none is more harsh than the Ashfall Wastes in her most distinguished opinion. Though the heat can sometimes be a bother, she takes comfort in the cooler areas of the kingdom and is a very respectful and respectable friend to Queen Mizeyera. Unfortunately, due to her being prone to making others sick, Porphyria must remain either a very brief visitor, or resigned to sort of containment area apart the same air one is breathing.
This way of interaction does not offend her in particular, but Porphyria is a little lonely due to the circumstances. Unfortunately, she is also very curious of male faes and usually attempts to allure or flirt with any she happens to encounter. Even more unfortunately, the males who do happen to find her alluring and pretty can get sick with coughs, fevers and sores if they aren't careful. What's worse is Porphyria loves to attend to a nice, sick sweetheart, and essentially keep them in a miserable captivity in which they cannot ever get well, or leave her at all.
Though all who she has managed to entangle in her web of illness have managed to escape and now promptly flee at the mere mention of her coming, it is unlikely for poor Porphyria to ever snag a male to herself...well, perhaps maybe one that is immune to her illness. She often dreams of becoming sick along with a mate and both snuggling up together in a dreadful, deadly, incapacitating sickness and together becoming so contagious, that nothing will be left alive except for their love. Porphyria finds Bubblegum and Verdis' love story to be very romantic, as you can imagine.
Despite Porphyria having friendly relations with most she meets and a modest and decent expression of trust and care, she is not simply a lady. Her power extends like an infectious bug, and remains elusively lingering like an intestinal worm. Her true elemental magic is strong, and quite destructive if left unchecked. As a combative mage, her duty is to the protection of her home, and to the King and Queen. She was often seen as the daughter of a witch, and a cursed fae, doomed to become a witch herself. But when she was taken in, and generously gifted food, clothing and a loving, enduring chance at life, she wanted to express her gratitude, and pledged her allegiance despite being a plague dragon, and a small dragoness with little else to offer.
But size, as she so gracefully proves time and time again, is by no means a measurement of power. As she puts it, a mammoth with the power to skewer and crush, is no match for a simple, small, tiny little virus, which can slowly eat it alive.
