COLLECTOR OF THE CUTE & CLAN ENIGMA

Minty is....a bit of an oddball in the clan, and anyone not in her family tends to give her a bit of a wide berth to avoid any potential awkwardness.

Hatched from the Matriarch's first nest, Minty was originaly born a fae. As her brother, Karin, was born first, he received the position of second in line to inherit leadership and all the responsibilities that came with it, leaving his sister to do as she pleased.

As most Wind dragons are prone to do, she took to wandering, and every time she disappeared from the clan's territory she came back with something new and adorable to add to her collection (although her definition of adorable does't always match up with the status quo). However unlike the other travelers at Wayfarer's Rest, she preferred to not share details about her journeys. This in itself wasn't considered strange until the day she came home as a Wildclaw and absolutely no one got it out of her just how it had happened. However Minty didn't seem perturbed at all but her new form, and continued on her daily life as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.

Except for a couple little details. While Minty had always been a quiet loner, these personality quirks seemed to be exaggerated even more-so by her new form, to the point where she sometimes seems to come off as almost feral. Where before she simply wouldn't speak unless spoken to first, she now will go into long periods of utter silence where she simply stares back at the dragon attempting to make conversation (and utterly refuses to bother using the sign language used throughout the clan for more language impaired dragons, though evidence does prove she does understand it), and if any dragon attempts to approach her to try and make friends, she will immediately react as if it is a challenge and threaten to attack them if they don't back off. As a result, everyone finds it easier to just let her be and do as she wants.

Yet despite the changes, Minty still continues to bring home adorable things.

F A M I L I A R • S P I T T Y
Truthfully, Minty has a LOT of familiars due to her collecting. However the one that is seen most in her company is Spitty, an Acid-Tongue Serpenta. Considering how she used to gush that her Everglade Lasher was the cutest thing in existance before her shapechange, the rest of the clan isn't terribly surprised by her choice of companion. What they are surprised about is that it tolerates her affections.

While Minty was from the Matriarch's first nest, she hatched after her brother, Karin, thereby ending up in a position that keeps getting moved further and further back with each seafoam child that her brother's branch of the bloodline produces. While this doesn't seem to bother her any, there are still rumors abound that her change from fae to wildclaw was born out of a need to be a more ferocious fighter to gain more of her mother's attention.

Minty didn't remember much of her father before he left, but she seemed to warm up quickly enough to him after the initial confusion of his return. As always, rumors followed her attachment to him, as some of her clanmates suspected this was because of his shapechanging, and perhaps the causes of the two were the same.

B R O T H E R • K A R I N
While Karin certainly did his fair share of picking on his sister when they were hatchlings, the two grew up to be rather close, and even after her change, Karin is quite possibly the lone dragon that Minty will show blatant affection for, sometimes going so far as to tag along when he has to do "official clan business," acting as silent moral support.

As their lives run on two seperate tracks, Minty and Froth have very little to do with each other. However to anyone who dares venture into Minty's lair, it's obvious she is proud of her son's accomplishments, as evidenced by several bits of clothing he's made displayed prominently in her "cute collection."

Minty seems to have something against Everglade, though no one can figure out what exactly. She can periodically be found digging up plants outside of the botanist's greenhouses, much to the Guardian's annoyance.
