Name origin: From "protozoa"

BACKSTORY

Zoa has inherited her father's undersized wings, and, like him, she cannot fly. Instead, she has taken up the peculiar pastime of swimming. Most of the time, she can be seen relaxing in pools of contaminated water or liquid disease. But every now and then she will make the trek to the nearest coastline and dive into the ocean, where her small wings actually give her the advantage of extra underwater maneuverability without being large enough to slow her down.

Though she has met many dragons of the Water domain in this way, Zoa still prefers the company of her own family above anyone else, and prefers to quietly explore the seas on her own terms rather than make allies. She doesn't really understand her parents' pursuit of inter-elemental unity, though she gets along well enough with clan members from outside of the Wandering Contagion. She has no strong opinion about the whole thing one way or another; she is content to mind her own business.
