Biography
Name origin: Mucus coughed up from lower airways.
BACKSTORY
Growing up in a clan of Gaolers based in the Abiding Boneyard, he was taught from a young age that a Gaoler's destiny is to fight the Shade, and though there are different ways to do so, the grand design of the breed cannot be ignored. But the youngster always felt like there must be more to life than hunting rogue abominations across the wasteland. Against the wishes of his family, he left the clan before they could even give him a proper name or assign him an Order. Thus, he was seen as a failure and banned from ever returning.
The outcast went on a journey both across the plaguelands and within himself, seeking out who he really was. After going through a rather nasty respiratory infection that left him with a permanently raspy voice, he gave himself the name Sputum. Though he enjoyed his adventuring, he still longed for a real home, and began seeking out a clan to join. Most rejected him, believing a "failed" Gaoler to be a bad omen. However, he eventually found Acidian's family who eagerly embraced him as a new friend. Thus, he became the first dragon from outside of their family tree to join the clan.
As for his role in this clan, he mainly acts as a sentry (he may not be a fan of warring with the Shade, but he still has those Gaoler instincts). On the occasions when something threatens the clan, Sputum will also fight off the offender with his sheer natural strength.
