BACKSTORY

The Obelisks emerged having different eye colors because even though they were born in the Earth domain, the Earthshaker (being as powerful as he is) can still wield magic of all elements, so he imbued the Obelisks with different elemental energies. That way, they would instinctively travel to the domain of their element to fulfill his commandment of protecting Sornieth.

Tarnisha was made Plague, and so she promptly flew to the Scarred Wasteland to connect with her given element. Not knowing exactly what to do with herself there, she meandered about, learning about her new home from the dragons and Beastclans she encountered. Eventually, she came across a kindly Mirror who offered her a place to stay. She was impressed by his passion for harmony, and it didn't take long for Tarnisha to fall in love with him.

Her Serthis friend, Helsier, was the first peaceful creature she encountered in the Scarred Wasteland. He taught her about the region and how to survive in it. After settling in with Acidian, Tarnisha invited Helsier to join their clan. After the quintuplets hatched, he often took up babysitting duties.
