Sundive
Fisherman, Mentor, and Treasurehunter For years, Sundive worked alone as a fisherman. He was incredibly withdrawn, too shy to talk to the dragons he helped to feed- even as he moved across the world. He spent most of his time away from his home clan, accompanied only by the lone Water Sprite. No matter where he went, he simply would be lost in the crowd, lonesome and scared to open up. The Sprite saw his sorrow, urging him and aiding him to gain the courage he needed to do just that. Sundive is every day grateful for his friend's actions. He very quickly gained an apprentice, son of the respected Head of Clanguard. He was soon, as a result, also held in high respect by the dragons he had before been too nervous to utter a word to. Through his mentorship, as well, Sundive gained much courage through the strong heart of his young found-kin, now a confident and passionate teacher to the young up-and-coming fisherman. With his newfound heart, Sundive has also branched out into searching for mysterious undersea treasures. Though neither he nor his apprentice can breathe under the surface, the two of them have managed to find some interesting relics near the shores of Dragonhome... |

Relationships
The Water Sprite and Sundive met on the sea one day, when the fisherman's ship was caught in a storm in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Sundive competently navigated the storm, and the Sprite was impressed. The Sprite since accompanied him on his journeys, curious of him and the worlds he visited, until eventually the two became friends through many years of shared space. Tide, Sundive's apprentice, has largely changed his life. Gaining him as an apprentice was like gaining a son, and Sundive is grateful for it and the events that led him to this relationship every day. The stoic and untrusting Gibbous clearly thinks very well of Sundive to entrust him with his son. Sundive does not quite know what the commander sees in him, but he does his best to live up to whatever it might be... The two often have long conversations when he comes back from the sea. Often, the two of them and the young Tide will share in activities as a family all together. |
