Falfus: You're just going to have to figure out what it wants. What is its motivation? Torchy: It's a rock monster! It doesn't have motivation! Falfus: See, that's your problem, Torchy! You were never serious about the craft! Found after a tempest in the Sunbeam Ruins, young Falfus was adopted by a traveling caravan of Flambebe preformers. Although he didn't look like them, he was made to feel welcome among the clan of blue and orange tundras. Falfus learned to love the stage, especially the works of the great playwright Waevepike. Bold and dramatic, he excelled at the over-the-top energy required for such roles. His zest for theatrics and devotion to the material granted him the lead role in all of the historical bard's works. A firm subscriber to the mindset that "the show must go on," Falfus never missed a performance, regardless of illness, injury, or the weather. He took each role extremely seriously, even going as far as to live AS the characters if he believed it would help his acting. Falfus was raised alongside his Flambebe brother Oxytorch. Significantly less interested in theatre, Torchy spent most of his time exploring the ruins outside of their campsites. The two spent their earliest years as best friends. However, as time passed, they began to drift apart; with Falfus fiercely loyal to the Flambebe troupe and their theatre, and Torchy more interested in obtaining his own goals. In time their friendly banter became actual arguments. It was unsurprising that Torchy left one midsummer's night, leaving Falfus and the rest of the troupe behind. Crushed, Falfus poured even more of himself into the troupe, studying and memorizing the old masterpieces with obsessive fervor. As the years passed, the oldest members of the troupe began to retire, settling down in different areas. Younger members of the troupe desired lives outside of entertaining, and many went the way of Torchy, setting out to find their own passions. The troupe's performances drew fewer and fewer crowds. Though Falfus tried to find other performance jobs, he was eventually forced to confront the fact that his passion had become a beautiful dream. With nothing but the shirt on his back- and one or two of those feathered caps- Falfus closed the curtain on his troupe life. Falfus traveled for a while, eventually settling in Terraclae, specifically in Goldmortar Town. He works for the library and is a subject-matter expert on the works of Waevepike and other bards of his era. He works primarily alongside Yore, and he and Ophelia meet to discuss literature often. Recently, Torchy has reappeared in his life. Falfus was surprised to find that not only was Torchy a prolific grave-robber, but he had a violent Guardian dragon bonded to him. Torchy seems to be hesitantly trying to reconnect with Falfus, but time will tell if the thespian still desires his company, or if their relationship is much ado about nothing. |

Notes:
✥ His lovely lady wife is Galgra, they met at university and have two boys.✥ Falfus is exceptionally big and fluffy, even for a tundra. He often gets winded while flying or walking up stairs- because his fur is HEAVY! No other reason!
✥ He can't fight worth a damn, but he can act like he's tough, which surprisingly works sometimes.
