Iris is a local witch that is feared by the locals for her craft. Many do not understand it, and thus are wary of her, while others deem her as a possible threat or an enemy waiting to strike from the shadows. While Iris had tried to be kind and put these worries to rest, the prejudice and superstition regarding her and her talents became too much, and she had given up and shut out the world as a result. All she wants now is to be left alone from the world she's come to despise, yet she can't seem to have even that.

Many dragons, especially hatchlings, are curious about Iris' line of work and may create games or challenges where they try to investigate or "arrest" the witch. Most of them never find her, while others get spooked into staying far away from the place. As for one hatchling, however, this was not the case. After being able to spy on them for weeks on end, the hatchling was caught and cursed by an enraged Iris. This remains one of the skydancer's biggest regrets, and she continues to try to find a reversal for this curse, though she doesn't know if one even exists. Due to her solitude, Iris is incredibly lonely. Although she has her cat familiar, even he rarely looks at her anymore, perhaps knowing the horrible acts she has committed. To try to help alleviate this feeling, she had conjured a spirit made from stardust by the name of Hallgrim. He's a talkative spirit and doesn't mind his summoner or her past, though he does like to wander out on his own and explore sometimes. Iris never stops him, no matter how much she wants to, in fear of ruining yet another thing in her life and cherishes the friendship she has with the entity. |

| With the perceived notions surrounding her as well as her past mistakes weighing her down, Iris often contemplates what it means to be a witch and if it's really worth all the trouble. It was an occupation inherited to her by her parents, though she often wonders if she should just abandon everything she's worked for. Though, the skdyancer doesn't know where else she would go in life, making her stuck in this cycle of haunting eyes and aimless wandering that she desperately wants to get out of. |
