Getting older is a strange, strange thing. A strange, tiring thing. It's good that there are so many smart young mages around, and so many healers at that. Luxor can be a little bit of a manager instead of taxing herself with the real magic.

And she can just get tea with Marquess and gossip when things are moving smoothly enough to leave the cohort on their own. She has three fully adult daughters and her job is slowing down- retirement is here, and it feels good.

Luxor has lived a rich life already. She got to go to school in Lanternlea Port, among the archives of the greatest tomes ever written. She had the opportunity to tour Sornieth practicing healing. And she got to settle in the Gladeveins with her little family... at least, until it became apparent that Flamingo was good for nothing and Mina needed to be raised somewhere better. But she's been up here watching Edge-Harbor grow for a long time now, and with pride in her heart, she finally feels ready to settle.

There's a new generation boiling below the surface of the old. Luxor's role now is to teach them what she knows, give them the resources to make it better, and then step the hell aside. Starling needs some extra support, the poor thing, but Luxor will support him and uplift the whole mage team until she's completely obsolete. The faster they make her look like a hatchling playing at magic, the better!

She's satisfied with her work. Life is good up here. Qizon is right to be so relaxed... if he could just stop relaxing so much on the job! 		A pansexual pride flag.
