"Hello, child. I am Scald, a demon, hundreds of years old, cursed with mortality. How, you may ask? Well, let me tell you story... a story about how the great and powerful Scald was turned into a mortal..."
Once upon a time, an egg washed up on the beach from the deepest depths of the ocean. Despite being an egg of the Water flight, the egg had dark energy surrounding it. Not long after being washed up, the egg broke open, revealing a small red Tundra. The moment he hatched, the dark energy manifested itself within him, turning him into a demon, and gave him the name of Scald.
However, his powers were short-lived, as an older dragon who had been walking along the beach had seen him. This dragon, who Scald seen as a threat, advanced towards him. Scald was unable to defend himself due to how young he was. The older dragon looked down at him. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" The dragon tsked. "A little newly hatched demon? Sorry little one, but we can't have any of those running around." The dragon raised a talon and rested it on Scald's head, drawing his demon powers away from him. The dragon, not knowing that the hatchling could understand him, said "Now you'll have to have 500 hatchlings to be free! Although nobody would want to have any with you. Who would want little half breed demons running around?"
And so, Scald was left abandoned on the beach, soon found by a dragon from the Forgotten Kingdom who took him in and raised him. And now, Scald begins his journey to have 500 hatchlings to finally be a demon again...
"And that, my child, is my story. Cursed to be a mortal until I have 500 hatchlings. Just my luck..."
This Dragon belongs to SakraKaine (User ID: 545357)! Do not exalt/sell/anything of that nature! They are a parent to a very important (or at least, important to us, since it's testing our patience with this sort of stuff) lineage project! They will mostly only be sent to nest renters to have hatchlings with different colored eyes!
Could be a name reference to Scald from the comic "Accidental Elemental"!
