Zythe was a follower.
Zythe studied them all with his piercing gaze. They were so ugly to look at, this mitch match of colors. None of them were true bred like he was. His parents had been a sanguine XXX and XXY. He could have been an XXX, he'd even had a one in three chance. But never mind. He was close enough.
He sniffed. He missed being among true breeds. Oh well. He'd have to do his best to turn this clan into civilized true breeds. Where to start though? There was so many of them. He sighed. Most would have to be culled, and new blood brought in, preferably from an old bloodline. Royalty was best.
He closed his eyes. Then snapped them open. There. That new dragon. A young Skydancer with beautiful red hues. She was surely an XXY, probably not an XXX, but close. Zythe felt himself wriggling in excitement.
