Paranormal Investigator and Exorcist

B I O G R A P H Y

Tomoko was restless and wanted to see the world beyond the trees of her home clan, especially fascinated by the ghost stories told in hushed tones at night when it was thought the hatchlings were sleeping. She happily went with the wind clan who offered to take her in and train her up, not fully understanding that they were asking for exalts at the time and merely looking forward to seeing the world. She bid her family goodbye and left the Viridian Labyrinth forever.

Settling in to her new clan quickly, she began exploring right away, learning as much as she could about ghosts and the like though being so young she usually wound up getting very dirty and lost for a few hours. However, it was through doing this that she missed each and every meeting for the recruited exalts, and so never wound up training and setting off with the flock when they had grown into their wings. The clan never brought it up, and she never really knew, so she was allowed by a small fluke to live in Amarayne, the resident ghost chaser and lover of the paranormal.

While that taste for supernatural adventure never faded, she did gain some discipline with age. She plans excursions out properly first and is sure to tell both the guards and her beloved girlfriend where she is going first. She now has a few spectral companions in the form of her familiars, and through them has better learned how to subdue and study spirits, but still has a tendency to get in over her head at times and rarely comes home without at least one scrape.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

At first it seemed that the only thing that mattered to her was her hobby, and even Kokone thought this was the case when they first met. True, her interest in Kokone at the start was her tragic past, but after a fumbling first meeting made an effort to genuinely befriend her. Her devotion to Kokone as a person was proven when she became the first to learn of her secret outside of her family. Instead of trying to contact with Kokone's spirit she held tightly to her friend's body and wailed, mourning the apparent loss. This was one of the first steps that brought Kokone and Tomoko together as more than friends.

Plants and the "typical" nature interests don't interest Tomoko. Aside from ghosts she enjoys spending time with her girlfriend, going to parties, and visiting the tavern after a long day of work or exploration. She's rather social, which is strange for someone wandering off on her own all the time, but she doesn't see a clash in this at all.
