The title of Moriko has been passed down in the Forest Children clan for generations. It had never been used as a name until Moriko was hatched from her mother’s egg. She was the only hatchling her mother and father ever had. So, by default, she was the only one in line to be the Moriko. And, unfortunately, her mother wanted everyone to know it so she named her daughter Moriko. After Moriko matured and grew up she felt a wanderlust in her bones that left her parents and clan worried. What if she left and never returned? This seemed to be the fear of most of the clan as Moriko announced her attentions. She was leaving on a journey of self-discovery as all guardians do. Leaving on her journey she made her way through the various clans in the Gladekeeper Territory. She made many friends due to her honorable personality but she did manage to make a few enemies. She traveled for nearly a decade before she ran into the love of her life, and her lifemate, Hayashi. Hayashi and Moriko met when she was visiting a glade near his home clan; and instantly she felt it, this was her Charge. His clan consisted entirely of fae dragons and he came from a large family. No one would really miss him if he disappeared and he knew it. So, on a whim he flew out from his clan and soon was attacked by a member of the Beastclans. An imposing roar filled the air and there stood Moriko, protecting him from them. She managed to scare them off but she was wounded due to it. Taking her to his clan he gently nursed her back to health with a loving hand. As they spent time together they started to develop romantic feelings for the mammoth guardian dragon. The feelings were mutual as Moriko grew to love the small fae dragon with a fierce love that would not be silenced as many times as she tried to keep it still. Then, one rainy night Moriko tried to leave the fae dragons. She left Hayashi a note and fled back into the wilds. At first Hayashi was quite taken aback and brokenhearted. Then, much to his families surprise he left to search for the dragon that had stolen his heart. Meanwhile, Moriko had returned home and was trudging about. Her mother was working with her on becoming the Clan head and her father was enjoying the tales of her exploits. It was noticeable for the wizened guardian that his daughter was avoiding something. Everytime he asked about her time in the fae clans her eyes darkened and she looked very, very sad and heartbroken. One day, by per chance, Moriko’s father ran into Hayashi. Hayashi noticed that the large dragon looked very similar to the woman that he loved and finally he begged the guardian that if he knew of the dragoness knew as Moriko please take him to her. Everything clicking for the elderly dragon he agreed. Moriko and Hayashi mated that week and have been inseparable. They have a moderately sized family together and unfortunately Moriko is now infertile due to ingesting a berry. However, she has chosen her daughter Chinatsu as the future head of the clan when the time comes and Moriko goes to meet the Gladekeeper. Currently though Moriko enjoys taking care of clan relations and clan affairs; after all, she is the Moriko. This title has recently passed down to her Eldest Daughter Chinatsu. Who, much to Moriko and Hayashi's surprise has had two biological children and two adopted children. All of which are the apples of Moriko's eye. Their names are Berut, Nuada, Mayumi, and Hibiki. Unsurprisingly two of the babies have decided to appease the gods and Nuada is contemplating it.
