PERSONALITY
Most of Little Snow sees Varda as an invaluable member of the community. Though a bit reckless, he is kind, helpful, and a hard worker. He is swift to make friends with everyone he meets, and is always eager to help out. He's also fearless, much to the concern of the older residents who see him as a son or grandson.

HISTORY
Varda was born and raised in a small family of Veilspun that moved to Little Snow shortly after their kind was revealed. His siblings moved away as soon as they could escape the Icefield, but Varda, surprisingly hardy for his kind, settled down even after his parents passed. He was well-liked by the rest of the clan, friendly and clever, and had no desire to leave - even if the town doctor would have to take him in on the worst nights, when even his Ice-attuned body couldn't stand the chill. He would frequently work odd jobs throughout town, though he was most often a scavenger of sorts. He also had a knack for woodcarving, selling his intricate creations at the local market.

As many young dragons do, Varda went through a stage of wanting to wander and explore. To this end, he joined a travelling caravan and took a tour of Sornieth. During one of their longer stops in the Viridian Labyrinth, he met Peep, a lonely Veil native to the area; quickly enamored with one another, it took little effort to convince the dragon to return to the Southern Icefield with him.

The two have since lived together in a small cottage. Peep is a chronic gardener; Varda scavenges, carves, and does odd jobs, just as he always has.

CONNECTIONS

Peep and Varda clicked the instant they met one another. If Peep hadn't agreed to come to the Icefield, Varda was seriously considering dropping everything to move north with him; thankfully, it didn't come to that. He sees Peep as clever and sweet, gentle but strong, and thinks that they're probably each others' better halves.
