Howl is the youngest of three young nobles, and not well suited to the aristocratic life.
He does not get along with his family and agreed to an arranged marriage to get away
from home. Though it took a little adjusting, he’s much happier living in Lyris. He’s
talented and charming, if a little vain, and does his own thing most of the time, but
stared selling medicinal and magical plants at the flower shop to keep busy. He’s a
wanderer at heart, and gets antsy when things are expected of him, but likes making
others happy, and has a generous heart.

He and Sophie got off to a rocky start. Their disparate backgrounds and strong wills
made living in close quarters difficult at first. They are excellent at pushing each other’s
buttons and decidedly less excellent at talking about their feelings. But after a bit of
uncomfortable opening up, they’ve started to figure things out, and though they’d hate
to admit it, are quickly becoming quite smitten with each other.
