Stian is sarcastic, with a black sense of humor, and though short-spoken and sometimes cold, he does have the ability to warm up to other dragons once they earn his respect. Mulberry of the Merry Marauders did that (in a pink dress no less) - and now he serves as a warrior of her clan. Something of a tactician, he always gives his leader reasonable, practical, and effective advice for their coming battles.

The ridgeback is a skilled and dangerous fighter. Despite his bulk, Stian’s combat style centers around speed and agility, dodging enemy attacks instead of blocking them. For this reason, he does not wear bulky armor, but instead relies on dealing enough damage to his foes to bring them down before they can even touch him. Should they come close, the blast of sound from his shrieking war cry can stun even the most ironclad of warriors.

Stian’s imposing silhouette against the setting sun has been known to end battles before they can even begin. No one, no matter how daring, wishes to face a Night Warrior or Nightcaller in their natural element. The sight of his enemies fleeing in terror is one of Stian’s greatest pleasures.
