As guardian spirits of the Starwood Strand, Starsoul and Woodsheart love all their children equally -- including the trees. These veilspun have a unique connection with both the sky above and the forest below, a talent for the Arcane, and a great respect for the natural -- and magical -- world around them.

Though her parents have little interest in the affairs of other dragons, Nighteyes always watched travelers and visitors to the forest with curiosity. Her parents did not forbid her from interacting with strangers, but she felt so different from them that she didn't know where to start. So she just watched in silence, until the day when, finally, another dragon spotted her, and the watcher became the watched.
