Moreno
Darklit Exile 
"Everyone must come out of exile in their own way."
Moreno is a dimly-colored Coatl that was viewed as disabled and malformed and rejected by his birth clan, resulting in exile. His bright belly that is common to see upon his subspecies now was not always present and only became as such through years and years of exposure to sacridite. Moreno, exiled by any Light clan he came across, decided to make the Hewn City his home. Burrowing deep into the ruins, he lingered, with others like him, surrounded by dimly glowing sacridite. The clusters undoubtedly glowed in response to the collective wishes of these groups of exiled Coatls. That wish: to change what made them exiles in the first place. The official emergence of Darklit Exiles was a bit of a phenomenon as it was by no means gradual. What exactly drew the Coatls' bellies to begin glowing bright yellow in the first place is unknown. Some Light scholars suspect that the little band of Coatls actually consumed shards of sacridite and began glowing as a result. Others believe that the shining sacridite within the caves actually granted their wish for a splash of bright color. Moreno prefers to hunt in small groups, stealthily. He isn't particularly powerful left to his own devices, but in a group he can be something to be reckoned with. Moreno, like all Exiles, prefer the method of stalking his prey and is capable of doing this by dimming his glowing belly. Like most Darklit Exiles, Moreno can change the intensity of his belly glow at will. Some bellies glow more brightly than others and can be used to cause a burst of intense light to disorient stronger foes. If an Exile doesn't have the forethought to close its eyes, it could be disoriented even more than its opponent by its own blinding light. Moreno is sensitive to light and has keen night vision. Having spent so long in the darkness of the Hewn City's depths, Moreno has little experience seeing the brilliant light present in other portions of the Sunbeam Ruins. He doesn't seem to be bothered by the average glow of his own belly and indeed find the slight light helpful in navigating the darkest caves and corridors when his exceptional night vision isn't good enough.
