Archangel

The graceful wings of the warrior
Seen as the greatest quarrier
The end of our sorrow
Flies toward the morrow
The enemies anger
Bright as amber
She walks calmly
Determination upon her face firmly
Removing the pain and wrath
From our gentle path
Through her journey that is painful
She will stand as our Archangel

Generation 3

I am a part of the Archangel lineage! This family of dragons descends from Faith and Omen, an angel and a fallen angel who were cast out onto Sornieth and cursed to live as dragons for their crime of becoming romantically involved. This family tends to have few offspring-- the more greyscale they are, the less the curse seems to affect them! Click the wings to learn more!

As a hatchling Micah’s mother had always told him the stars themselves had celebrated his hatching. And it was their love that gave him the constellations across his wings. The thought struck a chord with him, even so young, and raised a burning question.

If the stars had scrawled the markings across his wings – what did they say?

He grew to become an astronomer, heeding his mother’s plea to stay near the clan. She’d always been what he considered overprotective. Perhaps because of the father he’d never known? Regardless, his private and driven ways well matched with the long hours of observation needed to study the messages of the far-off stars, comets, and galaxies. He felt drawn to them. Something inside him ached with the desire to be ever closer. He felt incomplete. Even as his reputation bloomed into a celebrity scientist (And how could it not with his handsome face and aloof personality?) he yearned for more. To at least understand the message across his body. It must mean something! His frustrations grew faster than his popularity. Things came to ahead when he received a letter - an offer… to reveal the message.

Later, Micah would admit he could hardly remember anything about the radiant dragon he had spoken with. The whole encounter was a blur of light, elation, and hope. They’d called themselves an angel! And they needed his help! It was such a simple request really, in exchange for information Micah had spent his entire life chasing.

Help them find others like him.

Dragons filled with a longing for the stars.

Brimming with hope and determination, Micah continued his scared quest across Sornieth.
Within the Starfall Isles he found clusters of dragons with star covered wings, but he felt no connection. The messages they bore were gibberish - random in the way no gift from above would ever be. He was always aware of the omnipotent power over his shoulders. He’d agreed to this task, and he was failing. The presence grew heavier with each unsuccessful day he searched. It led to desperation, frustration, and finally - he made a mistake.

It was Parisa who saved him from the Beastclan ambush. A Night Warrior of unbridled skill, she’d drove off the marauders but not before Micah’s wing was broken.

Parisa took him to a cave to recover. She lived a nomadic lifestyle with no attachments save her duty and had little to say to a foolish wanderer, but Micah was enraptured. The constellations across the wildcalw’s wings conveyed no message but when he dared to drape his healthy wing across hers… Well, it took a significant effort on his part to woo her.

They named their single small daughter, Evangelina. After her grandmother.

And it was then, finally, that Micah felt the connection he had been searching for.

To be continued...

First off, it was hard to pick just one dragon from your lair, you have so many wonderful beasts. Micah is a very pretty dragon! His colors go very well with the muted blue and brown apparel you've chosen for him, all and all a wonderful dragon to look at!
