Niles is a young incubus, full of energy. He seems to be naive, hedonistic and immature, but actually has a serious and thoughtful side.
He is a skilled fighter and always puts others first – a character trait nearly nobody expects from him. He was part of the late holy council which was formed after king Drakon disappeared. His strong will and fighting skills even surpassed the expectations. Character: ❖ - extrovert - ❖ ❖ - attentive - ❖ ❖ - selfless - ❖ ❖ - idealistic - ❖ Niles is a womanizer. Although he is unable to feel love and does not miss a chance to flirt with every female (or male) he meets, he is head over heels for Shannen. The more she rejects him, the more he tries. He actually cares for her and even tried to protect her when he was severily hurt. Even if Shannen gets offensive, he seems to enjoy her company. Apart from his excesses, Niles is mature and dutiful. He takes care of tasks, no matter how hard they may be. Since he grew up an orphan himself, he wants to make the world a better place for future generations. He is a skilled, quick fighter and loyal to his cause. When he gets nervous, he tends to ask a lot of questions and reassuring queries. |

Niles had a hard stand in the council as some council members looked down on him, others did not understand his way of thinking. He took it with humour and proved very loyal to the cause, even taking a blow that was meant for Bilal.
He was mostly neutral in discussions. When Anubis' and Alvan started to revolt they did not plan on killing or hurting Niles, but he stepped in to save Shannen and fled with her to her family.
Niles accompanied the nymphs into the war with Shannen when the royal family decided to take part in it. He died protecting a city with Mael when he protected him by getting the dragons attention and dying in the process.
