Rune is a young shadow dragon. In contary to most of the dragons, he is very curious regarding other species and appears to be less old-fashioned.
Although his mother is part of the dragon council, he's not fond of their conservative policy. Rune was the leader of a clique of young dragons who flew to the demon-areas, simply to get to know them. When one of his friends was killed from the oldest dragon of the dragon council for critisizing his decision of not helping the demons in their battle against Samael, Rune changed sides and helped Niles and Shannen to flee from the council. Rune is skilled in the air. He is able to spit smoke instead of fire. His wings contain of smoke and can vanish if he wants them to.
Other dragons always called him hyperactive, for he is sleeping sparesly for a dragon. Only music can make him sit an listen for a long time. During the war with Samael he helped the demons and also fought against other dragons, which made him officially an outcast. Once peace was restored, he left Shannen to search for his own place in the world. Later he met Malasint. They both have similar attitudes and get along well, traveling together from there on. |
