"This... this did not go as planned. Oh damn it."
Never once did he think he would be clan leader again. He had been there, done that, and solidarity with his mate was enough, thank you very much. In fact, avoiding other dragons had become his hobby. He had played this game enough times before to know how it ends, and how he would be the one to suffer in the end. Clearly, that was all flipped upside down when Voltaire decided that they had made acquaintance with plenty of weird and wonderful dragons -Voltaire had managed to stick with Jasper throughout the years, somehow, despite Jasper trying to ditch him- and that a clan wouldn't be a bad idea. Obviously, Voltaire thought Jasper would suit the role of leader just fine. 
Eldest out of all the dragons, Jasper does a good job of being the clan leader, doing whatever clan leaders do, with the help of Voltaire and Hephaestus. While not a stern leader, nor a boisterous one, he often keeps a calm head about things and usually has a plan for when Dionysus and Csoki get lost/attacked/almost eaten/kidnapped when out foraging. He does well to quell most disputes (key word: most) but also maintains the distance draconic pride seems to demand. While not one to hoard things per say, he does collect tea. Anything that is shiny etc, he only ever collects for his mate Melina, who, to safely say, means absolutely everything to him. |

Voltaire "Jasper, I have another great idea!" Most annoying best friend he has ever had the pleasure of meeting. Met on accident, and has been stuck with the Spiral ever since. |

Melina "Get your head out of your *** and listen to me for five seconds!" His lovely, lovely mate. While they do argue (often, mainly due to Melina's insecurities) they love each other, Jasper willing to sacrifice any and all for his mate. She does keep him grounded and for a Fae, is surprisingly emotional, often picking at little problems. Despite this, he can never really be mad at her for long. As for her annoyance with him... |

Hephaestus "Because let's face it; you've been avoiding your past for too long, Voltaire isn't going to shut up about this, and I am bored out of my mind. It will keep Persephone distracted and the hell away from me, and Mel won't be so lonely anymore either. Just accept it, Frosty. This is happening, and you're leading it." Rumor has it that Hephaestus and Jasper are former mates. Whether or not this is true is only known by the two dragons themselves. Regardless, the two have known each other much longer than any one else in the clan, and trust each other about any one else as well. That still does not stop Hephy from berating him and threatening to maim him if he does not get his act together at times. |

Margarita "If I have to warn you again, you won't have time to be sorry." Another dear friend, although this one has a much more complicated back story. Regardless, Maggie is one of the only dragons Jasper did not run away from, nor try to ditch on numerous occasions. One of the only people to know his past fully, she was the first dragon he came to, and still often goes to, for advice. |

Catharsis "I will rip the skin and flesh from your bones, and destroy you with the ice you take such comfort in. Kill you in the ways you fear the most. But all in due time. Let us enjoy this time together first, shall we?" From the beginning, it was obvious that the two Skydancers clashed. Their history is shrouded in darkness (hinted that Margarita knows the full story) but the tension between the two is overwhelming. It feels as though the clan is divided: those on Jasper's side, and those on Catharsis' side. Why he is allowed to even remain within a mile of the clan, let alone accepted in is only known by Jasper. |

Myra "Long time, frosting." The implied reason why Catharsis is a part of the clan. She and Jasper appear to have a history that goes even further than him and Hephy, or him and Maggie. She seems to have a vault of blackmail on the poor Skydancer, and dangles it above him every chance she gets. |
