Please note that Camille cannot speak.
Even as a hatchling, Camille had always known the pull of wanderlust. Despite the bright sun and aged ruins surrounding her, she had always known that she would one day leave the lush cradle that she had been born within. How could she not? There was so very much to see, and besides, she had always felt the oddest sense that she did not quite belong within the Lightweaver's domain. Not entirely, at least.

And so she had journeyed. Young and inexperienced, she had met more hardship than anticipated, and yet her desire to search for more never wavered.

Finally, on a continent locked in unwavering ice, she had found the warmth she had sought. He was polite to a fault, theatrical, and over-dramatic. His words were grand, his visions grander. She was never fooled for a moment. Camille knew that Malek's posturing was just that: an act carefully created to conceal the lonely and self-conscious being within.

Speaking louder in silence than any other, she had brought the lonely dragon truly out of his shell for the first time. While one may have traveled the world to bring them together, they had both been searching, and once found, they would never again let go.
