Biography

If Butterpaw is our clan's yin, Trinket is his massage therapist, which is probably more effective than whatever a yang is. She can always calm him down whenever he gets particularly murder-y, partly with her cool intellectualism, and mostly by being a very sexy lady dragon.

Trinket is the wisest dragon any of us have ever met. She first stumbled upon Butterpaw's bachelor lair while in the midst of her Ice Pilgrimage, which is a thing a lot of Icewarden devotees are supposed to do when they come of age but don't really. You're supposed to leave your nest and go on a long journey to strengthen your spiritual bond with the Icewarden, mostly by making yourself very cold and alone until you go sort of crazy. Upon meeting Butterpaw, Trinket decided that this quest was kind of silly, and that he was kind of cute and strong but might need some help surviving, seeing as his lair was completely littered with animal carcasses that he "didn't know how to eat." Thus began a timeless romance.

Trinket is the big organizer for our clan. Whereas Butterpaw usually just grunts that it's "time to go kill," Trinket always stops him to remind him that we should decide where, for how long, and what we're bringing back. She's also in charge of "finances," a word which means she launches herself between Butterpaw and the newly acquired hoard to decide what is worth selling before he can eat it all. Of course, she isn't perfect at her job. She does have... the bug collection.

Trinket is a scientist. Most of us aren't really sure what scientist means, but we know from what Trinket has shown us is that involves a lot of dunking animals and things in water to see how long they can breathe or how long it takes them to freeze. Her most extensive work is on bugs. She's a buggologist by trade and is always performing experiments, like pulling the wings off of one of them, only to sew them back on with Steampunk Stuff attached. Steampunk Stuff is just regular metal stuff covered in clock parts. Trinket is working on developing an army of
