We are the nomads, the ones named by the wind. Sometimes the wind says things like "Butterpaw." Or at least it does when it's bloody freezing out. How would you know?

We are the ones that stand metaphysical guard over Yggdrasil, the great tree that binds the nature of all life on all planes. You ask, "How can a tree metaphysically grow in such bitter, bracing, downright RUDE cold?? We answer, "Exactly."

We are very nice nomads though. We always go scooting across the ice. The ice scoot is a revered tradition of our clan. We invite you to go scooting with us. Please, don't make us ice scoot alone for much longer. There is discontent here. Sometimes we get very, very hungry, from being nomads and all, and we forget that there are delicious seals to eat LITERALLY EVERYWHERE.

Sometimes we ask ourselves, "Why ice?" And the wind answers for us: "Arrogant, corrosive individualist streak." Or possibly "BuffaloWhiskers." This may just be the wind getting a head start on the next nomad's name. The wind's a bit batty, to be honest.

Enjoy your stay. But don't mess with us too hard. We once took down three guys, when we only had two guys. We used icicle shanks. We cheated. But it was cool. Everything's cool here.
