The Outpost was originally an idea for a Nuzlocke/Pinkerlocke planned after the release of the Hibernal Den. It was intended to house shadier dragons than would be welcome in the main clan - mostly as an excuse to finally add a pirate dragon. Argh. However, once the first dragon was actually added, it was quickly realized that the rules would never be followed. Plans were scrapped. Instead, the slighly seedier characters remained, but were also joined by loyal clan members and clueless dragons who had no idea what was going on. Mostly the entire thing is an excuse to finally add some new colors / new genes / new apparel to a clan that stopped growing due to space. Praise the Hibernal Den! Now, would these dragons remain out in the open eating all the food or would the Outpost be relegated to the HD once outfits/lore/familiars/members were established?
Her life began when she landed on a small section of ice in the Frigid Floes. She looked around - her new clan wouldn't stay here long but this is where her Search led her. Fairlady knew that this would be her Charge - to lead a clan in the Southern Icefields and, once they had the resources, settle permanently in the Ancient Lair of the Fortress of Ends.

Not long after she arrived, a small Mirror landed beside her - DarkLord. "My lady," he said. "It seems my path has brought me to you." Fairlady looked bemused at him - this was certainly not behavior she expected from a Mirror.

On February 07, 2019, the clan leaders met and decided that the clan needed to expand yet again. The main lair had been expanded to the point where they needed to burrow further into the mountain and underground. Although the clan had enough spaces for everyone, living quarters had gotten tighter and as the clan grew with more permanent members, the clan leaders felt they would be more comfortable with larger dens.
The clan was assigned different areas for their dwellings - anyone remaining in the main clan would need to be trained to Lvl 25 for added protection. Clan leaders were aware that this process could take years, but thought it was best for the clan. Of the 32 dragons, fourteen of them were already level 25, two were level 20, and one was level 13. A few of the untrained dragons grumbled and hoped they were at the bottom of the list, in case clan leaders changed their mind, but none dared speak against the idea to Fairlady. She had demonstrated time and time again that her decisions were made for the good of the clan.
In the meantime, construction continued. The expansion would likely take weeks - or months - to be completed. All permanent clan members had been relocated, but additional temporary lodging was being constructed for trainees who needed an extended stay and trusted visitors during the Gala.

Earth Flight: Hipster kit (Rockbreaker's Ceremony 2014):
A simply dressed male wildclaw approaches your lair. He seems somewhat unaccustomed to such cold weather.
'We don’t expect everyone to know this, but the Earth Flight is the most exclusive of all Flight Rising Clans. You might not even have heard of us before since we’re so underground. If you had then you might know that we started giving out Gift Baskets during our Holiday BEFORE it was cool.
We don’t want to be defined by that, so with this year’s gift we demonstrate how you and your dragons can reject blind consumerism and embrace all that is hip.

Rockbreaker's Ceremony 2014: Festival Grounds
Fairlady wandered the festival grounds, enjoying a day out. Her mate was getting a fairground snack for them, so she decided to head over to the games area. Two members of her clan had visited the festival earlier in the week and brought back glowing reviews.
Fairlady flicked her new scarf over her shoulder, taking a second to admire it in the water's reflection. The gift from the Earth Flight emissary matched her coloring perfectly.
She addressed the mirror running the game, "May I take a turn?" Dunking her head in the barrel, she grabbed the first thing that she felt and.... [Roll: 65]
...came out with a
to take back to her clan.
Shaking the last drops of water off, Fairlady headed over to Singmolii's Rockbreak stall. The young hatchling, who tried the game earlier this week, had been thrilled with her prizes and the mammertee plushie and kelp tender plush hadn't left her sight since then. Fairlady carefully chose a hammer and a rock and then swung the hammer down....
She was immediately swallowed in an explosion of chittering flowers, glittering gems, metal, and softly glowing weightless fabric. [Roll: 98]
The guardian was practically speechless but managed to tell the stall owner, "WOW! Thank you!!"
Before she went to find her mate, Fairlady wanted to try one last game. She studied the board carefully. Finally, "A4" she announced (A5 if that happens to be taken) and waited with anticipation to see what would be in that square....
Indiana smiled at the newcomer. "Right this way." She led the Guardian to her chosen square and waited as the hole was dug. Once it was finished, she reached in and pulled out a worn basket. Reaching inside with a claw, she announced, "Two Featherfall Packs! Not bad."
The next day, before she left the festival and headed home, Fairlady decided to stop at the Treasure Hunt one more time.

"Sounds good to me," Indiana said, leading the Guardian to her square. She waited as she dug, and once she was finished pulled out an old, grimy basket. Hopefully it would have a shiny treasure inside. Indiana tossed aside the lid and announced the prize inside: "One Autumn Dryad! Finally - I was thinking no one would ever dig up a familiar!" she laughed, handing the familiar over. "Have a happy last day of Rockbreaker's!"
Fairlady took the Autumn Dryad back to the clan with her, and the familiar immediately bonded with Hallow, one of the tribe's mirrors. The dragon thanked her clan leader for the new companion.
