 Ismene performed the trials with her older brother. She found that her sacrifice was her voice. The siblings, at first panicked, Sage thought he lost her and she couldn't respond to him. They stayed within the Labyrinth to learn how to cope with these gifts and sacrifices until they felt comfortable to venture off on their own and to they stay together. Ismene helps Sage travel when he doesn't use his magic.

The two siblings work with their aunt, Eibhlin & cousin, Aspen within the clan's Library. Sage keeps secret records translated to brail so that he can read but also not many can understand it. He teaches the guilds and the sailors this way of writing to keep secret messages. Ismene helps organize the library records as well as assists in translating/scribing translations from Sage's encrypted texts.

She wears windchimes so that Sage can find her easily when she moves.
