 Sage performed the trials with his baby sister. They could see the end, but what to sacrifice. As a twist in fate, he had lost his sight. Despite the most crippling of sacrifices, he has used the magic around him to be his sight. The vibrations in the air, the ground, through sounds, he is able to see. He can only use his magic for himself for short periods of time. When he's too tired, he further trains himself to work without his sight.

The two siblings work with their aunt, Eibhlin & cousin, Aspen within the clan's Library. Sage keeps secret records translated to brail so that he can read but also not many can understand it. He teaches the guilds and the sailors this way of writing to keep secret messages. Ismene helps organize the library records as well as assists in translating/scribing translations from Sage's encrypted texts.
