Arondight

Often times, strength is the aftermath of suffering. These words could not ring more truly for Arondight, the Crimson Shadow.

Born in the Tangled Woods, Arondight was almost immediately separated from his clan, and soon found himself hopelessly lost in the Scarred Wastelands. The first years of his life were the hardest. The youngling was forced into the life of a scavenger, hiding from the battle-hungry Plague Dragons only to come out for the scraps of food he desperately needed to survive. But as time went on, and Arondight grew both in size and strength, he began to adopt the savage nature of the Plague Dragons. By his adolescence, he had become as fierce a hunter as any his age. At the dawn of his adulthood, he challenged, slew, and feasted upon the flesh of an Elder Plague Dragon. Though the meat was bitter and pungent with decay, Arondight savored the meal, knowing it to be a testament to his power as a Shadow Dragon. This act of power and defiance of the Plaguebringer earned Arondight the moniker of "Crimson Shadow" across the Wastelands.

Eventually, Arondight could no longer ignore how out of place he was in these forsaken lands, and found his way back to the Tangled Woods, where he would start the Inivum clan with Veltrex. Arondight has since adopted a far more relaxed demeanor, no longer as on-edge and fierce as the days of his youth. Though the hardships of growing up in the Scarred Wastelands may forever haunt him, he is now surrounded by loving family, and has reason to smile.

Arondight's days as a warrior are not yet over, it seems. One day, an arrogant Plagueborn Ridgeback by the name of Durendal came forth to challenge Arondight. The battle was long and arduous, but Arondight eventually claimed victory. However, Durendal was able to escape, swearing to someday slay the Crimson Shadow. Arondight has since then kept a watchful eye out, ever-prepared for this rematch...
