Ykarion (or "Ykon") has aspired to be a scholar like Hywela ever since he was a small hatchling, and beams with pride every time he hears word of his mother's findings around the clan. Although Ykon is no Arcane dragon, he carries his mother's spirit, and some could say that the aura around him is of an Arcane dragon rather than an Ice dragon.

Hippogriff Familiar Hippogriffs are more social creatures than their gryphon cousins. Their ability to consume meat and grain means that more of them may occupy the same territory. 1600

Chosen Familiar: Hippogriff “Wyrna” Ykon’s loyal Hippogriff has accompanied him since his childhood, and he enjoys taking care of her. Sometimes Wyrna acts as a mail gryphon, transporting scrolls or packages from all over the continent straight to Ykon or Hywela. Whatever the matter, Wyrna is good company to have around, and sometimes acts as moral support for Ykon when he needs it.
