Luccio

Luccio has been a traveler throughout most of his life, constantly migrating between clans across the continent. He is more on the carefree side, and his old way of life was exciting for him. He loved fluttering from flight to flight and exploring the wide world of Sornieth. That was the life he used to live and love. But what made him stop and settle down?

On his way to the Snowsquall Tundra from Starfall Isles, his intended route was interrupted by a fierce snowstorm reported to be sweeping across the Icefield. Despite being from the Ice flight himself, he ended up settling for a while in an ice clan huddled at the Frigid Floes, where he met Hywela, a dedicated student with her sights set for the stars. Luccio felt his feathers warm up whenever he was around Hywela, his heart beating out of his chest. Hywela was, of course, very bouncy around him too, and because of his better knowledge of the world out of the two, she always asked him about other dragonflights and how they did things.

When the snowstorm had reportedly stopped, the leader of this ice clan went manic. Winterheart was insane, and she didn't stop for anyone anymore - not even her own mate. She no longer cared about who came and went, she just wanted them out of her den and out of her sight. Luccio saw it best to leave the clan; being here within the floes would just be putting himself in more danger than he would if he threw himself into the snowstorm. So he left - but not without Hywela giving him a gift: a little blue bulb that hangs from one's head and glows whenever danger approaches.

Luccio left for the Snowsquall Tundra with a deep void clawing at his heart. True to its description, the Deepsea Bulb protected him from monsters and beastclans that tried to put a halt to his journey. Once he finally reached his intended destination, he made his way back on track with his plans - he even managed to find a loophole and made it to the Fortress of Ends! However, the winds that came from traveling didn't ruffle his feathers the way they used to; they now felt cold and empty and dry.

So he returned. Back he went for the Coatl who had stolen his heart. And Hywela was there, waiting patiently for his return, her warm fuchsia eyes lighting up like the cobalt bulb once he came into sight.

Sparksylph Familiar Sparksylph congregate on the edges of the fiercest storms: a crackling mist riding the winds. 2940

Chosen Familiar: Sparksylph "Wispcloud" Wispcloud was picked up by Luccio when the Coatl made his journey away from Hywela to the Snowsquall Tundra. He found it at the edge of where the snowstorm was, and saw it was in need of a companion, so he invited it along on his travels. Of course, Wispcloud followed Luccio from Snowsquall Tundra to the Fortress of Ends and all the way back to Frigid Floes, where it now chills with its Coatl friend and his mate Hywela.
