Rem is a rambunctious child, harassing her playmates into activity long past the point when they're tired and just want a nap. When they no longer respond, she amuses herself by climbing Annas' legs onto his shoulders over and over and seeing how far she can jump, or chasing small animals and windblown leaves around the hatchling's clearing.

She is fascinated by anything that glows and glitters, and was the first of the creche to investigate Alchemystery's lair, attracted by the sight of her whirling elemental familiar entering the cave. She is also a little thief, snatching anything colorful and shiny from her playmates and even grown dragons when they are distracted. Annas regularly uncovers stashes of gems, coins, feathers, and bright scraps of silk she has hidden away. Fortunately she is not upset when he returns most of it to its proper owners - it's just a chance to discover them all over again! She is also sometimes very generous with her finds. When a younger hatchling is upset or lonely, she will bring them a little gift to try and cheer them up.
