Biography
Drawling Sylvan Warrior
When people come looking for the head of the Bramblewood Grove's warriors and sentries, the laid-back-looking, grinning Wildclaw isn't usually the one they expect. She speaks with a drawl, wears no armor, and is far from being a stoic knight, often found laughing at (if not assisting) harmless mischief around the forest. However, her well-muscled frame, meticulously-kept sharp teeth, and the glint in her Wind-green eyes tell a whole different story.
While extremely casual and generally easygoing, Hunter moves with explosive power, going from relaxing against a tree trunk to bounding ten feet in the air in an eyeblink should the need arise. She and Caoradhromain make up the melee core of the clan's hunting team, and she's often found in the field, training new recruits, chasing down prey, or just having fun. True to her Windy nature, she's rarely in one place for too long, always scanning the environment for interesting things.
Hunter is unquestionably on top of the Wildclaw hierarchy in the Bramblewood Grove. Challenges to this are usually handled quickly, with one swift blow -- or, if she's feeling particularly showoffish, it ends with the shriek of challenge. While not particularly skilled at magic, Hunter does have one particular trick she's fond of -- empowering a shriek with an explosive blast of Wind, amplifying both the sound and the impact impressively. (This serves as a great alarm system for the grove, if nothing else!) She can finesse the intensity of the blast fairly well, a trick she uses to great effect while accompanying flowerbombing troupes.
Her lair is held in the branches of a pair of maple trees, grown from the same seed; while she's rarely there, her familiar, Josephine, is usually keeping her eye out for visitors, and has an uncanny knack for finding her dragon wherever she may be. Chimes of feathers and bones hang from the edges of platforms and eaves of roofs, and furs and paintings adorn the walls.
Hunter has no specific mate, but she tends to swing toward the female side of bisexual/pansexual. She considers all of the clan's warriors her family, including Ceotha, who she both admires on the battlefield and looks up to as a mother figure.
She is also a practitioner of the dragon version of freerunning, so don't be too surprised to find her on somebody's roof.
Adorable chibi by sadey -- thank you!
