B I O G R A P H Y

Sprig is as her birth flight intended, nurturing and strong. She has a tendacy to find young dragons and raise them, either as her own or to be exalted. The choice of either path belongs to the dragon upon adulthood.

In the beginning, when she was young and hopeful, she and her mate, Kulingale, lived happily in the borders Viridian Labyrinth with their two hatchlings. They were certainly a pair, with matching antlers that were passed to their young, a new clan was just in the beginnings of greatness. It wasn't until a tragedy stuck that Sprig moved from her home. Plaguelings, Mirror dragons from the Wyrmwound, sought to bring destruction to their Mother's enemy. Sprig received mild scars from the attack, while her children were slain and her mate badly wounded.

Soro, Sprig's friend and resident fire dragon of her neighboring groves, looked upon the destruction and offered any help she could. Recognizing the type of wound Kulingale suffered from, the only chance he had to survive was to travel to Soro's home: The Ashfall Wastes. There they would find a flower to burn the bacteria that resided inside of Kulingale's body.

Traveling slowly, the trio encountered three, supposedly abandoned hatchlings: a pair of twin Wildclaws and a small, female Skydancer. Sprig was reluctant to help them, as her attention was solely on her mate. Kulingale encouraged her to open her heart, as the Glade Keeper would.

For a short time in their long journey there was happiness in this small family, until the day that Kulingale gave way to his wounds and passed. Sukino, Pollux, and Castor would always remember the only father they've ever known, and Sprig will cherish the time they all had together.

After meeting Astaroth and Paraiba, and gaining a new home in the Ashfall Waste of all places,
Sprig returned to her mother home to lay her mate to rest among the vines they once called home, not knowing that he would be re-awakened and transformed when she left. He would later find them in the dark Hewn valleys to reunite with the family he lost.
